Los Angeles Times
Produced for the Los Angeles Times as part of their widely-recognized and award-winning campaign displayed in movie theaters along with other movie trailers, this piece is one of three created and directed by Mousetrappe Creative Director David Briggs. The only direction given by the client was "something funny and behind the scenes in feature film-making".
A Bug's House
In support of the release of A Bug's Life, Disney produced a mall tour and an attraction at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood with a Behind-The-Scenes experience about the film. Mousetrappe principals shot on location at Pixar and produced a 10 minute piece hosted by a live narrator who interacts with the video. At the time, John Lassiter called this piece the best video produced about Pixar Animation Studios.
Disney's Steps In Time
Mousetrappe principals produced scenic video elements for Disney's Steps In Time, the original stage production for the Hyperion Theater at Disney's California Adventure. In this short excerpt synchronized screens supplement lighting and staging to immerse the audience in "Under Da Sea".

At 47 seconds it is the perfect introduction to the quality and diversity of our work.
Fall 2009 Visual Effects
Our Fall 2009 Visual Effects Reel is a progression reel, showing the deep compositing done for Beyond All Boundaries, our film for the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. This film required us to recreate the massive assault on D-Day in Normandy, and other scenes both realistic and theatrical.
This reel demonstrates how we took live action footage shot exclusively for this project and created rich and full scenes, sometimes including over 750 layers of footage, special effects, animation, and matte paintings.
Fall 2009 Animation
This brief reel highlights Mousetrappe’s ability to create and direct a wide variety of animation styles. Featured are cell animation for Universal Studios Japan and Flash-style animation for Universal Studios Florida, as well as complex cg animation scenes from Beyond All Boundaries.
Mousetrappe is able to bring huge stylistic diversity to each project by focusing on creating unique and visually stunning results that perfectly fit the show.
Making of Beyond All Boundaries
Mousetrappe shot and produced this behind-the-scenes look at the making of Beyond All Boundaries, the new theatrical presentation at the National World War II Museum in New Orleans. Mousetrappe created the film for this presentation for The Hettema Group, working under Executive Producer Tom Hanks.
This 7 minute piece shares insights into the creative and production process.
We Shot This
